Webinar - Smartwatches and Self-reflection

Are smartwatches the key to better health and greater performance? If we are to believe the book "The Pulse Cure" by the Norwegian physician Torkil Færø, measuring small variations in heart activity provides clear feedback on how we can positively influence the nervous system by making good lifestyle choices in everyday life. Another interesting question is whether smartwatches can guide and support the practice of meditation.

In this Acem Forum, physician and meditation teacher Øyvind Ellingsen explains how physical activity, meditation, diet and other lifestyle factors affect the important balance between parts of the nervous system that control stress and recuperation, performance and self-reflection. We will also learn how meditation affects brain activities that we usually cannot control with our conscious will.

Online meeting. A link to the event will be distributed via Acem's e-news.
