國際雅肯創始人。行為醫學教授、心理醫生、心理學家,是壓力精神病學、醫學教育、團體歷程及放鬆方法等方面研究的專家。
賀倫博士,1945年生於挪威,1966年創立雅肯靜坐學會,1968年創立雅肯瑜珈學會,當時他還是一位大學生。是一位受人景仰與愛戴的靜坐教師,曾幫無數來自不同國家和文化背景的人釐清靜坐與人生問題,也經常在不同的國家帶領雅肯的靜坐營;著有許多與雅肯靜坐相關的論文和書籍,致力於發展與宗教無關的靜坐心理學以及獨一無二的靜坐教學與輔導方法。曾修習過梵文,也曾在雅肯創立之初,在印度停留一段時期,鑽研多種不同的靜坐傳統與方法。
現任挪威科技大學醫學院的行為醫學教授,曾擔任911、泰國海嘯、挪威恐怖襲擊災後身心重建顧問,是舉世聞名的壓力精神病學專家和研究者,有關創傷壓力、醫學教育、團體歷程、放鬆方法等方面著述甚豐,也是精神科的主治醫師。
已婚並育有兩名子女。
